That would be me, Alison Ambrose Doyle.
I moved out to Chicago after graduating to write and perform,
training in improv and comedy writing at Second City and iO.

I live in Chicago, but am from Tiburon, CA, a little town right outside San Francisco.
I graduated from Georgetown in 2013, where I met my boyfriend Trevor.
I was artsy, he was athletic... what more can I say?
{thank you avril}

It's been a crazy ride so far, but even on the days where I wonder what the hell I've gotten myself into, there's something about it that truly feels right, and at this point that's all I've got.

I started this blog because I want a record of the everyday.
The everyday for me right now is improv-centric.
I eat and breath "yes, and..."
I push myself to create as much quality work as possible.

I never want to forget this period of my life.
A time where being broke and following your dreams is okay.

And the name?
La Vie en Rose
La Vie Ambrose
.... get it?
